In our data, we found many groups were crossplay groups between PC and console players. If you play in a Crossplay game now, Aim Assist is enabled in all matches except Competitive. We made a change to Aim Assist in Crossplay (PC+ Console) lobbies. Transcriptions are only made for reports of disruptive behavior in public voice channels, which includes team and match chat-group “party” chat is excluded. No one listens to the temporary audio recording, which is quickly deleted after being transcribed. Once reported, a temporary audio recording will be used to make a text file transcript through speech-to-text programs. Make sure you report as close to when disruptive behavior occurred to maximize this feature’s effectiveness. Players will now see a notification when entering voice chat for the first time during a play session indicating that voice chat may be recorded. As a piece of our Defense Matrix initiative, audio transcriptions allow us to analyze a transcript from a temporary voice chat recording of a reported player. The audio transcription feature has been added with a limited rollout for PC players in select countries. We’ve increased the precision of our queue time estimates for each individual role in role queue. We’ve made numerous tuning adjustments on the server for both the initial and continued determination of a player’s skill tier and division, many of which will become even more noticeable at the start of Season 2. We’re continuing to monitor the health of competitive play and matchmaking across Overwatch 2, both for returning and new players. If only there was a hero in the game that could use it.Overwatch 2 Midseason 1 Patch Notes General Updates The Retro Star skin is wrapped in pastel pink, gives Mei turquoise hair, and has a shooting star that changes colors. If you log into the store right now there's a new, colorful Mei skin on the shop for 1,000 Overwatch Coins. That is, unless something changes from the patch notes Blizzard released last month. Sojourn, the new railgun-toting hero who, by most people's estimation, is absurdly powerful at the moment, won't be getting any changes. Overwatch League viewers who caught the grand finals already saw the patch in action: Zarya's unstoppable reign is over, Genji has been swapped out for Reaper, and Sombra isn't played at all. The rest of the patch includes balance changes to over-performing heroes, including Genji, D.Va, Zarya, Sombra, and Kiriko. If Mei doesn't return later today, she will have been out of the game longer than the robot. Before Mei, Blizzard removed Bastion for two weeks while they fixed an exploit with his ultimate ability.
